Barbara is an architect and craftsman who has been making pottery for more than three decades. It all began with a clay class the last semester of her senior year of college. Upon graduating, she accepted an apprenticeship with a potter in Portsmouth, NH, where she worked for several years before leaving to study architecture. Today, Barbara’s architecture and pottery influences are reflected in her focus on function and form. She believes that pots should perform well, look good and feel comfortable and balanced in your hands.
